2012 Audi A5 Cabriolet

Audi is the updating of the A5 model series. Advanced technologies are being added to the Sportback, Coupe, Cabriolet and S5 models in the areas of engine, quattro drive and entertainment information and more efficiency, sportsmanship and intelligence. The updated design visually highlights the skills involved in these releases.

Audi A5 models are more distinctive than ever. The taillights and headlights have been redesigned and are optionally available xenon plus technology with LED daytime running lights homogeneous. New colors and materials accentuate the interior, and many details of the concept of operation have been refined.

Each of the four TDI diesel and three gasoline TFSI in the range of new engines include forced induction and direct fuel injection. The new 1.8 TFSI offers a number of revolutionary innovations. Fuel consumption has been reduced by 11 percent on average. The start-stop system and the recovery system are standard on all configurations of the motor drive.

Each engine corresponds to the ideal transmission - a six-speed manual, multitronic, seven-speed S tronic, quattro or FWD. When combined with S tronic, quattro transmission using the center differential gear and crown torque vectoring, the sport differential is the perfect complement. The chassis has been more delicate, with the optional Audi select address system dynamics and making the Audi A5 even more fun to drive. The electromechanical steering is new to the family Audi A5.
